Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in Early Childhood Care and Education (Pengasuhan & Pendidikan Awal Kanak-kanak) is a competency-based programme designed to produce skilled individuals in the field of early childhood care, nurturing, and education during the crucial stages of child development. The programme emphasizes holistic child development, covering physical, emotional, social, and cognitive aspects.

Students will be equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to child care practices, implementation of early learning activities, child safety and health management, child development principles, as well as effective communication skills within early childhood education environments. The programme also focuses on preparing safe, conducive, and developmentally appropriate learning environments in line with industry needs and national child care standards.
